Following the release of OCCT for Linux a couple of weeks ago, the Steam version of OCCT is finally here!
It took a little longer than originally planned, but we're very happy to say that OCCT will soon be available on Steam! This release will make OCCT more accessible to a broader audience, including gamers and hardware enthusiasts.
Even better, this release also includes a portable handheld edition of OCCT that runs flawlessly on the Steam Deck. While OCCT –following the Linux release– was technically already compatible with the Steam Deck, this optimized version will ensure a smoother installation and overall user experience.
The Steam version will be free and will also include an optional non-recurrent purchase, priced the same as on Patreon. That means if you're not a fan of subscriptions but would like to support us or gain access to more features, you can simply pay for one month or one year directly through Steam.
Additionally, to reflect this update, the Personal+Patreon version of OCCT will be renamed to Personal [Supporter] across all platforms. Pricing and features remain unchanged.
Today's announcement is another step in our commitment to making OCCT available wherever you need it.
